Am about to buy a Macbook Pro sooner than intended (my old Powerbook was stolen yesterday :( though is covered by insurance at least), would like to run Neverwinter Nights 2 on it, will this run well even on the lower end MBP (i.e. 2.4Ghz CPU and only 256Mb of VRAM)? Its an extra £250 (through Apple's education store) for the 2.5Ghz CPU/512Mb VRAM model, which seems alot extra for only a little more performance (spending an extra £50 for the 7200rpm disc on the slower model would seem a better move), but the slower model on just meets the recommended specification:

I can't vouch for the MBP, but the game runs great on my HD2600 equipped iMac with only 256 MB video memory.

I just started playing NWN2 on my MBP. I have a 2.4GHz model with the 8600M GT w/256MB VRAM, 4GB RAM. It runs well, although, I've kept the settings towards medium. I'm only through the first act, so I don't know if later parts of the game have more beasties which might cause the performance to suffer.

Net: seems fine on a MBP.
