I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to move ipod touch icon's anywhere on the page. For example you have 5 icons, and you put 2 on the very top and 3 on the very bottom, excluding the dock. Does anyone know of an app that will allow you to do this?

Do you mean like putting 2 icons on the very top of the screen and then putting 4 icons above the dock??
if so i don't think thats possible.... yet
I've been looking for one of those too and so far no luck, but I do think that somebody might come up with an .app for that

you would need a blank app, that did nothing, and had no icon. That way you could make a space....

hmm your "blank" way seems like a good but cumbersome idea.
i can't say that ive tried it but here's what i suggest:
*go to the apps folder and duplcate a small app (like bossprefs or something)
*delete the "icon.png" from the app folder
*if you have app-names displayed (you can just plain turn them off in SMBprefs) then you'll need to go into the strings file and delete the name string
*duplicate your new app as many times as you want spaces
there's something else that might work which i noticed once:
* install heaps of apps you don't want from installer.app, then position them where you want spaces
* uninstall those apps through installer.app
* hey pronto - gaps! (just dont try respositioning things now)
hope that helps

except you want the blank spots non responsive, so they dont launch an app when you accidently touch them

I was just elaborating on the gedankens of the dudes above me.
Give my second method a go.
Oh and don't be such a gimp criticising everyone else's posts for the sake of it

Can't you just install arbitrary aps, put them where you want the spaces to be, then uninstall them?
