American soldiers handcuffed and firmly wrapped masking tape around an Iraqi man's mouth as they arrested him on Tuesday for speaking out against occupation troops.

Asked why the man had been arrested and put into the back of a Humvee vehicle on Tahrir Square, the commanding officer told Reuters at the scene: ''This man has been detained for making anti-coalition statements.''

He refused to say what the man said.

1. bush defines freedom differently for iraqis than for americans, or
2. this is how bush defines freedom, period

or maybe this iraqi had more than words and something ot do with something and didnt want to inform society, let them do what they gotta do man all i know is were loosing our boys out there everyday because there fighting and representing us. im sorry i just cant stand people who are all about stop the war and treat them the same , cause no one in the twin towers got a chance did they and were in war arleady like it or not so since we are back our friggin troops , and that iraqi could have had a gun or knife i see it as there all a threat right now because unfortunately u cant tell the goods ones from the bad

I guess you didn't hear that the Iraqis had nothing to do with 9/11.

Espnetboy3, if the troops are representing you , then they are obviously representing ignorance.

No Iraqi connection to 9/11

Osama hates Saddam because he's not a Islamic hard-liner.

So much for bringing Freedom to Iraq. Does anyone really beleive that BS?
