hi, i have an 8gb itouch with the 1.1.4 software - can i still unlock my itouch, if so how???

Dude, did you even do a little bit of searching on here????

You can easy find the ZiPhones app to download and away you go, simple as pie

Or iLiberty+ if you want to avoid some of the issues related to ZiPhone

You're using incorrect terminology here 😛 Unlocking refers to making the iPhone work with different carriers.

What you are looking for is the ability to jailbreak your iPod and the good news is that it is indeed available to you on 1.1.4.

Thanks for the replies and the advice 🙂

I did do a search on the net and found the software you guys were talking about e.g Ziphone, iLibertyX etc but I downloaded it onto my work PC which I think doesnt allow it as it came up with an error message so i'll try on my own PC.

I now have Ziphone installed on my itouch.

To install anything from the installer do i have to be connected to the net?
