iPod downloaded tv programs won't play

Hi,
Downloaded a series of TV shows from the History Channel. They appear on my iTunes and they appear synced on my iPod. However, when I try to play them on my iPod, nothing happens. I have others that play, but none of the 5 parts play.
Any thoughts of where to go from here??
