Alright guys, I have to say that i like my Macbook Air and its been a great experience so far.
I gave my sister the Macbook which i bought about 14 months ago and just the other day when i went to use it, it felt heavy as hell, that goes to show that we get spoiled by the weight of the air.
Anyways, do you think in the next few years when the updated Macbook Air comes out it would be even thinner? What features do you think it would have?

glad you're diggin' your new toy. i'd love to see a 3g card built into the Air. i mean come on, what truly says 'mobile' more than a cellular air card :)

3G seems to be obvious in the future, near or not..
i know what you mean, going from my dell inspiron e1505 laptop to my normal black mabook.. like going from a brick to a feather (well not quite but)

Not sure if I foresee it being any thinner, but definitely larger hard drives, maybe more ports, etc...
To me, it would be great to see the macbook air offered in different sizes. For example, 8-9" screen and/or 15" screen. ;)

Yep. But Apple will find a way to limit users down to only one 3G carrier...

Another USB and maybe a FireWire port... The firewire would appeal to music and video makers and everyone loves USB.

I have the MBA with SSD, it's only 64GB but it's sweet and large enough for my uses.
I expect the next iteration to come with an 128GB SSD.
I think Apple will find a way to include a firewire port, and perhaps 3G. Especially since the next edition of the iPhone will likely be 3G.

i dont think it'll get too much thinner for a while. I also feel apple is going to stay with one usb port for some reason, just to create some disparity between their product line.
