What kind of fonts do macs use? I'm wondering because I did graphics work many years ago ( on a pc). Lately I am wanting to get back into it but have since started using a mac . Im loving it. Its actually the reason I want to get back into it. Now I can work on design stuff without crashes hehe...anyways I was just wondering what kind of fonts macs use. And maybe how I would go about installing them.....thanks

Hopefully this link (http://www.myfonts.com/support/help_install_mac.html) will help answer some of your questions. :)

Well, Apple uses a slightly modified version of Myriad Pro for many of their products on their site. Try searching Google to get the original version of Myriad Pro. It is usually a for-pay font, unless you get it from a promo (like I got it). It is one of my favorite fonts now.

For best results, you should probably use OpenType fonts. Here (http://www.adobe.com/uk/type/opentype/index.html) is a little info.
