ipod won't play purchased music

my 16GB jail broken ipod touch won't play music that i have purchased on itunes. My ipod was 1.1.4 and i jail broke it. Now it is 1.1.3. I have plenty of other songs that i synced onto my ipod after i jail broke it and they play fine, but when i try to play purchased music it doesn't work. It acts like it is playing it, but no sound comes out. I tried re-syncing all my music back on but i still have the same problem. I don't know what to do... i guess i could burn my purchased songs onto a cd and rip them back onto my computer so they are unprotected, or download a song converter... but i was wondering if anyone had an easier way to fix my problem.

Any ideas?

where you logged in to iTunes account when syncing?

that exact thing happened to me

you probably used the 1.1.3 soft upgrade which was probably from Nate True

I did and i had to restore

restored it, used ziphone, then had my purchased music back working perfectly
