My in warranty Macbook has a crack in the edge of the casing (over a little from the touch pad). Will Apple fix this, or do I have to live with a cracked macbook?

Really? That is horrible. I've never heard of such a thing. You better just throw it away and get a new one. :eek:

They wouldn't fix that, but if it just sprung up, they should fix it(as long as you're MB doesn't show signs of abuse)

There are so many threads on this. Search first.

Apple is aware of this and in almost every instance is fixing them even after warranty has expired.

I haven't been here long but there is constantly 2-3 threads on one page regarding the cracking issue, why dont people use the scroll button on their mouse??
Maybe someone should create a sticky thread which would stop this, its a waste of time reading/flicking through duplicate threads and not to mention server space.
