Hi folks...
How do I tell if a Powerbook is Lombard, Wallstreet, or some other model?
Thanks in advance

Well, if you are in OS 9, go to the Apple Tap Menu in the Menu Bar, and scroll down to Apple System Profiler. Look at your main specs on your machine.
In OS X, go to Applications> Utilities> Apple System Profiler. Again, look at your machines main specs.
Then, go to Apple-History.com and select the PowerBook G3 models that might be yours. Look at the specs, and compare!

Wallstreet had adb, Lombard added USB and removed the adb and serial ports, Pismo added Firewire (removed SCSI) to the Lombard model. Wallstreet has a black keyboard, where Lombard and Pismo had bronze keyboards.

If you don't feel like going on the internet to look up some basic specs on a certain Mac, try Mactracker. The free application gives you moderately detailed information about many Apple products, and has even saved me in discussions.
