I'm considering completely reinstalling my Macbook Air, but would like to preserve all of my settings, applications, etc. Although I have Time Machine backups, I believe restoring from these can only be done manually.
I'm thinking instead that I could use SuperDuper to clone my current installation onto an external drive, then install Leopard clean, then use Migration Assistant to move my apps and settings back from the external drive.
Can anyone confirm that this would work? Is there anything else I need to be aware of?
Thanks,
Tom
