Hello -
I was wondering that the communities thoughts were for converting a three store Point of Sale system to Macs were. If there is anyone who has done this - what has been your experience?
I can't decide if it is worth the time and cost to look into moving over. Retraining would be considerable, although the systems would be better. I am looking for experience of my own on Macs and I am considering getting a Mac. Obviously I would do this and know my way around OS X before moving over the company, but I was just brainstorming.
I met with the Business Accounts Director over St. Louis and talked to him. They talk a good talk and I must say that it convincing, but I just can't see moving over the entire business to Apple. Sure, there are sections of the business that would greatly benefit from Apple's products, but I just can't see the true benefit of the POS and other aspects being Apple.
