I attempted to jailbrek my ipod for Mac OSX. I was in the process and it was taking way to long (10 min.) so i pressed kill. Nothing happened for like 20 minutes so i ejected it. I tried to kill it again and nothing would happen. I can't restore it since it isn't in iTunes. i dont know what i am going to do. someone please help me as soon as you can.
All i see is text and nothing at all is happening.

You can try taking it to apple and see if they can do anything. They may not though since you did attempt to unlock it, and that voids the warranty.

Alternatively, try some of the suggestions here...

Particularly:
Q: I used ZiPhone but i got an error. I realized my mistake, but when i closed out of ZiPhone and rebooted my iPod, The white text still went on my screen and i get the error all over again. How do i get it to just boot back up so i can use ZiPhone again? Do i have to restore?
A: No, you do not need to restore. Simply, while the ipod is connected to the computer, hold both the sleep/wake button and the home button to turn the ipod completely off. Then, turn the power back on, still holding the home button but releasing the sleep/wake button. This, if done correctly, will put the ipod in recovery mode. you can then use ZiPhone 2.6b to boot it out into normal mode, where you can then fix your error and try again.

restore it,
To restore your iPhone or iPod Touch, hold down the Power and Home buttons on the device until the Apple logo appears on the screen (be sure your device is already plugged into your computer, and that iTunes is running!), at which point you can let go of the Power button-- but keep holding the Home button. When you see the "Connect to iTunes" logo appear, you may let go of the Home button, and use iTunes to restore.

Or you can do something stupid and mess with the BIOS. That would screw it up for sure...

So you did exactly what it told you not to do... what did you think was going to happen?

What do you mean "exactly not to do" ? I followed the instructions and did everything it said. but, whatever. its over.

I think he/she means that the instructions tell you not to interrupt the process. But as you said, you fixed it, so I'll just close the thread. ;)
