Best Settings for Airport Extreme?

Hi, I have had my airport extreme N for about 6 months and recently i have been wondering how can i make it better. Don't get me wrong i love it but I just want to know if there is a way to make it better.

If you want to get the fastest N speeds, you need to configure it as N-only broadcasting at 5 GHz. That'll get you 300 Mbps transmit rate, but range might decrease according to what I've read online. N-only 2.4 GHz is roughly around 130 Mbps. I don't know about mixed b/g/n networks as my TC's always been N-only.
