I've put my 1st Gen MBP in the marketplace (specs in sig). I'm planning on either getting a refurbished MacBook Pro or a MacBook Air.

Does this 2.2Ghz MBP have a LED backlight?

Yes it's Santa Rosa. Yes it has LED backlight screen. The 2.2 and 2.4 were the first models to incorporate it.

Thanks for the info! So I'm assuming that the 2.16GHz MBP's they briefly had on there today for $1299 are NOT LED backlit? Older chipset maybe? Those went fast, I was thinking of ordering tonight when I got home. Thanks

Correct, the 2.16Ghz are not.
