Have read about Ziphone and iliberty

I'm unlikley to be adding any extra apps, just like the phone and music/movie functions as it is.

It seems the downside to ziphone is something to do with a bootloader but I really dont know and am a bit confused.

Whats the easiest and less likley to go wrong method for an IT idiot?

bootloader can be fixed by downloading bootneuter from installer en upgrade it back to 4.6 and unlock with neuter.

Umm thanks for that, but what use is this bootloader to me anyway?

I just want to be able to put my sim card in the phone and use its normal applications.

I was unsure aswell but I then used pwnage tool and then created a custom firmware and restored via itunes (alot of tutorials around) but it worked perfectly, if your going to do it make sure you jailbreak with the other sim card in not the o2 one.
