View Full Version : MBP 2,4 Penryn runs slower after upgrading RAM

Installed 4GB RAM on my two days old MBP 2,4 and it boots slower, launches Photoshop, Mail and other apps much (3x) slower than with 2GB RAM.

New RAM is KVR667D2S5/2G ( Memory Mobile KINGSTON ValueRAM (DDR2,2048MB,667MHz,SODIMM).

Ramer memory test is OK.

What's going on?

dont supose you tried switching back to see if the time difference was for real did you?
