Cannot receive sms

Hi there,

I was recently given an iphone, everything appears to be functioning okay apart from the fact I cannot receive any sms. I can send messages no problem and can make and receive calls. Is there a setting or something I am missing?

Reset the phone. If that doesn't work contact your network provider.

Thanks guys, I had re-set the phone so I guess I will contact the network provider. I had to buy another phone to text myself to be sure ;)

Give it a couple days. iPhone takes a while to take off after activation.
