I don't think anyone has posted this yet, but an interesting little blurb about how Microsoft is using Virtual PC.

" Microsoft, which has finished development of a new version of Virtual PC for Windows, hopes to use the idea to support customers that have newer computers which must run older programs. VMware has also released a software development kit, which enables companies such as IBM or HP to more easily integrate the VMware software into their utility computing technology. "

Hmm weird... so this emulates older operating systems...

Like how old?

Like run DOS on your XP system or like some old Linux on Windows?

Connetix created Virtual PC for Windows to allow people to use older opperating systems that may no longer run on the system's current processor, as well as using Windows Betas, Linux, and Unix for X86 with out subplanting the Main OS. Its a nice Idea, sometimes I wish I could run System 7.5.5 on my PowerBook, I have a few programs that don't play well with OS8+.
