KMV switches.......

I am a Mac user and need to use a PC for a little while. I learned that a KMV switch would allow me to operate both towers using one keyboard, mouse, and monitor.

Does anyone have any recommendations on what kind/brand of switch to purchase?

I assume you're using a Mac Mini or a Mac Pro. If so, I had good luck with an IOGear KVM (with an audio line) on my Mini and PC boxes...

No, I actually have powermac g4 and i am borrowing a God-awful Gateway. It's free, hopefully it lasts more than a week. I am new to these KMV switches and I am confused as to what will work with a PC/Mac.

That's very similar to the one I had except that mine had audio as well and it's an older model. I think it will work; do check MacMall's return policy, though, in case it's not compatible... Good luck
