Built-in iSight Problem

I know the built-in isight in the MBA is inferior to those in the MB and the MBP, but this is ridiculous. I can never get it to work consistently (maybe only twice). I either get a black screen or a very faint black/white image. I've zapped the PRAM, repaired permissions, and rebooted to no avail. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Thanks. That's what I am going to do next week. The thing is that it has worked before so I thought it might be software related.
