Hello All,

I was wondering if anyone knew of any TV Tuner cards that would work on my Dual 2ghz G5. I only need a basic (read: cheap?) card that will let me plug a DirecTV Box in and let me use my Cinema Display as a TV.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Ethan

Don't think this works. If Televio is basically an Alchemy tv pci card then it seems for now there is no tv tuner card for the G5.

I would recommed Eye TV be Elgato. It won best in show at MWNY 2002.

Agreed. The Elgato Eyetv is an excellent choice. Your only option for now would be to shop for an external unit.

This card doesn't work in a G5 yet. But as they told me they are working on one that will do.

Since the G5 and later model PM G4's PCI-X then then finding a compatable internal PCI TV card is going to be hard work since the market is so limited. PCI-X is good for two things fiber channel and Ultra SCSI 320.

I have a TV card in my PC, cost $90AUD and uses PCI-33MHz (what all PC motherboards come with)
