I just updated my old tiger with leopard and erased all my info on my hard drive. I have all my stuff on the touch but when I plug it in, itunes tells me that it can only be sync to one computer(the old system) so what do I have to do in order for itunes to allow me to download all my music back into the computer? thanks in advance.

If you haven't backed up your content, you shouldn't have chosen the erase and install option. They're not kidding when they warn you that all data will be erased. iTunes will never sync multimedia content both ways, only between a computer and the device. If you want to get your content off of the device, you'll probably have to look into third-party options.

Quite the opposite, this is good. Just import all your songs from that into iTunes and you'll be good. Or, if for some reason you want to get them off of your iPod (don't know why you would?) I present to you "Copying Content from your iPod to your Computer - The Definitive Guide."
