Hey! I did a bit of the old chop-chop with Final Cut Pro to the classic iPhone commercial tune.

I removed all the vocals and posted the instrumental file here:

Makes a great ringtone -- Enjoy!

Sorry - no longer available.

Hate to break this to you. But the song is called Perfect Timing (This Morning) by Orba Squara and was given out by iTunes for free for a period of time and can still be purchased.

I paid .99 cents for it without all the work. :p

Take the intro, and with a little work in Logic or Pro Tools...even Garageband, edit in the end. And your done. Much easier than getting rid of the words.

Hi -

In your iTunes folder on your harddrive -- there should be a folder called "Ringtones"

If you download and copy my files into the Ringtone folder it should work (I formatted them in Garageband).

If you have trouble finding the folder -- then do a spotlight search for Ringtones to find the correct folder.

I recommend quitting itunes before you begin the process.

Hope it works for you -- perhaps others on this forum might be of more help since you are running a PWNed iPhone.

I know but you don't get the cool swipe at the open and ring at the end that is featured on the commercial spots.

Actually all you have to do is double click on the downloaded files. From there they will open in iTunes and will be placed in Ring Tones for you ;)
Assuming you have the latest version of iTunes installed.

It's not that we hate it. It's that you put a lot of effort on something that was already done.

I don't have an iPhone yet, but will iTunes simply play these if I download a few? I would like to hear them & save a few for later.

NEVER MIND... I just tried it & plays fine. Thanks.

Not to mention posting those probably violates some kind of copyright.
