So KDX finally comes out with a new version and by the looks of the readme it might not be half bad. The one catch it's not backwards compatible with the old clients/servers/trackers so I can't actually connect to anything. Maybe someone will get a new tracker up soon so I can see if this thing has finally become usable. It's still ugly though. I guess we'll just have to live with that part.

Ugly yes!...But unusable??Its been usable for a long time....

great. so they're trying to get everyone to upgrade eh?

i bet we'll still see alot of older servers and tracker. ;)

isn't this another hotline/carracho?

i mean, how many of these things are we gonna see? I used to use hotline and dealt with all the "click here - then here and look at all the porn/banners - then you might get a password that works".. pretty useful huh?

so then I was educated about the wonderful world of usenet and .. ahh.. so much better.
just wish more mac people would use it...

and quit screwing up the filenames in your usenet posts!!!!!!

Um it's suprising you'd say that because I was running the new tracker build before it was "announced". i was pointed to the haxial website where the new versions were and versiontracker.com hadn't been updated yet, neither had the haxial email been sent out. Anyway I am currently running both builds new and old so people who haven't switched yet can still get a list of old servers.

thoth is good for usenet on mac.. forte makes good stuff for win32. if you want to post, use these.. if you just want to leech.. goto easynews.com - it's cheap and very easy to use.
