setting up iMac for first time with wireless mighty mouse

I ordered my iMac with the wireless mighty mouse option.
My question is regarding the initial boot/setup. Will the intial setup process immediately recognize my wireless mouse, or will I be navigating with only the keyboard until I'm actually in OSX where I can pair the device.
Since the mouse is bluetooth, doesn't the pairing "wizard" need to run before it can be used?
 
Did just the same thing you describe six months ago when I got my new Imac, and had no troubles at all. Mouse worked right from the start😎
