Lets find out what chip are in the new imacs...run this.
To find the processor ID, open Terminal.app and enter the command:
/usr/sbin/ioreg -lw0 | grep CPUBrand
For example, my Late-2006 white 2.16 GHz reports:
"CPUBrand" = "Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU T7400 @ 2.16GHz"
