Should be interesting. I like O'reilly.
I know many people dont think so, but he does come across as pretty fair and balanced much of the time. He kind of the exact opposite of Sean Hannity, who more often than not seems to be nothing but an apologist (hope I used that word correctly), for the right.

No, I don't "think" he doesn't come across as fair, I KNOW he doesn't. This guy is an apologist to the extreme.

That said, I have absolutely no idea why Hillary is appearing on O'Reilly's show. Maybe it has something to do with this (http://bravenewfilms.org/blog/36988-want-to-know-what-happens-when-we-sing-fox-s-praises).

Great interview so far. Bill O tried to nail her on health care and raising taxes and she answered were well. This is interesting because she's not getting the patty cake she usually gets from Olbermann, these are actually important questions where she gets to defend her stance. Strategically I think shes reaching out for the "establishment" vote here. She even mentioned Ronald Reagan is a positive light.

I really don't understand why the lefties out there have their undies in a twist about her on O'Reilly. Jealousy maybe? Or just that it lends credence to the so-called villain of the right. Its a great idea and she's doing very well IMO.

Maybe, or maybe it has more to do with this (http://www.nowpublic.com/culture/cable-news-bullies-oreilly-and-fox-rule-ratings).

She did very well. She was very impressive. She knows her *****.

Obama would never expose himself like she did by appearing on that show.

I'm looking forward to watching part 2 tomorrow.

You know, it's strange. Obama really did falter at the ABC debate.. but that is the only time I've seen him do that. I'm not one to judge, I suppose, I've only ever seen a few of his debates. That one event though seems to have painted all past ones and he seems to have lost confidence. Unless he pulls up his socks, I don't think he'll get the nomination - on the grand scale of things, if he doesn't change, he probably shouldn't get the nomination... which is a shame, IMO. He may need to change his campaign directors, really.

Great move on Clinton's part though. Now conservatives will be able to see what a conservative she really is. I s'pose they're the ones to target.

He used to be. Lately, not so much. Did you see his interview with Bush a few years ago? It was disappointing to say the least.

This is interesting because she's not getting the patty cake she usually gets from Olbermann
I was disappointed with his last interview with her, but he criticizes her all the time. Even had one of those special comments about her. It's funny, because someone just said something about how he's anti-Hillary and pro-Obama. Despite criticizing him as well. Not going to defend everything he's said, but saying she gets patty cake from him is completely disingenuous.

I really don't understand why the lefties out there have their undies in a twist about her on O'Reilly. Jealousy maybe? Or just that it lends credence to the so-called villain of the right.
Because it couldn't possibly be for legitimate reasons? Here are just a few after a quick Google search (http://mediamatters.org/issues_topics/tags/bill_o_reilly). I can show you more. The latest that pissed me off was about that predominantly black restaurant and how he was surprised they weren't yelling and throwing things. Then of course there's the railing against Clinton, then defending sometimes when Bush does the same things. Just like that whole Mackris thing while criticizing Clinton for his failings. Falafel. Or how everything is now far left, even if most Americans agree with it.

Obama would never expose himself like she did by appearing on that show.
He was just on Fox the other day.

Now conservatives will be able to see what a conservative she really is. I s'pose they're the ones to target.
She's always been conservative. Sometimes in the good way. Sometimes not. She gets painted with the far left liberal thing too, but it's never fit her or her husband. They're moderates if anything, left on some things, right on others. But we don't pay attention to what people actually are, just what they're painted as. Which is why McCain still gets the maverick moderate thing, even though it's especially not true anymore, and how Kerry, who's even further right on some issues than Clinton, got painted as the biggest liberal in Congress. Now Obama is. You'd think the socialist guy would be.

Obama sucked at the last debate, but the last debate sucked.

I think she did very well in round one. Answered questions, didn't back down and showed she can think on the fly.

As much as the left loathes the Fox News channel, it isn't in their best interest to ignore that important media outlet.

Obama did Wallace on Sunday which I found very interesting and enlightening also.

Isn't the Daily Telegraph (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/) as read by the English Aristocracy now far left?

Fixed it for you ;). Hmm its difficult, the problem is that it is really bias so I'm not sure what they should do.

Or how everything is now far left, even if most Americans agree with it.

Most americans do not agree with the daily kos and moveon.org and code pink.

So, in what may be the most anticipated television interview since David Letterman finally landed Oprah Winfrey, Hillary Clinton appeared on Wednesday night’s edition of The O’Reilly Factor. It’s shocking, yes, but should not be terribly surprising.

Predictably, the Far Left is howling — how could Hillary Clinton sit down with Bill O’Reilly?! (Funny, the Left did not offer such strenuous objections to Senator Barack Obama’s willingness to sit down with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.) And while it may cause their collective head to explode, just as only Richard Nixon could go to China, perhaps only Hillary Clinton could pull off an interview on The Factor.

Except those hoping to see Clinton fail, liberals and progressives most likely did not tune in. Of North Carolina Democrats watching last night’s interview, many are those suffering from buyer’s remorse on Obama. They are votes she desperately needs.

By appearing on The O’Reilly Factor, the state’s most-watched news program, Clinton is sending a message to voters throughout eastern North Carolina.

She demonstrated a willingness to enter the “lion’s den” and not back down under aggressive questioning — the Sunday shows are tough, but unlikely to overtly accuse Clinton of waffling, misleading, or wanting to bankrupt the country. Prior to last night, it’s doubtful she had heard the word “bupkis” in an interview. But there she sat; speaking of fair and balanced coverage, while taking what may have been the closest thing to sniper fire Senator Clinton has ever seen. The National Review (http://article.nationalreview.com/?q=YTI5ODRlM2I1YWMwNzE2ZTQ5MTNjYzE0OGQzMTE5MGM)

^^ The above link is broken, remove the http://" at the beginning.

EDIT:

(Funny, the Left did not offer such strenuous objections to Senator Barack Obama’s willingness to sit down with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.)

The Iranian president is the leader of a sovereign state, he has no choice but to deal with him, and as Iran is a "problem" for the US of course he should talk to him.

On the other hand Fox News is a very right wing news channel so I can see why the democrats wouldn't want to go on, and to an extent going on validates it, but it also allows you to speak out at your critics which is good, and they will push much harder than other channels so it can be effective.

I don't think they should, I just don't like O'Reilly.

Obama did Wallace on Sunday which I found very interesting and enlightening also.
Wallace at one point questioned why the press kept harping on Obama for things that didn't matter, and I respected him for that. He dropped it the next day, but still. I caught pieces of that interview, and it didn't look horrible, especially compared to the ABC debates, but from what I saw, neither of them impressed me.

Did you see the Bill O interview?
I hadn't planned on it because like I said, I don't particularly like either of them any more, but I might catch what I can now on the net.

Olbermann was patty cake
I gotta be honest, I zoned out a little bit while watching it. You're partially right, he didn't interrupt her when she was droning on and could have asked stronger questions. Again, not going to defend everything he's done, and he even later admitted he could have been stronger. But I've seen fluff, and that wasn't nearly as bad as it could have been. Especially when he's being called anti-Hillary and pro-Obama elsewhere. Maybe my definition of cake is just looser than yours.

then he turns around and rips her to shreds with with his commentators with points he didn't have the nuts to ask her directly.
He tore into her first for one of her ads, then she went on the show later.

Most americans do not agree with the daily kos and moveon.org and code pink.
Well, I wasn't really talking about them. I was referring to the way O'Reilly has been calling everyone far left these days, even when they aren't. He didn't used to as much, but it seems like it's getting worse. But now that you mention it, yeah, as Lee said, on a lot of issues they are more mainstream now. Left, sure I'd be a fool not to give you that. But the far left loons O'Reilly tries to paint some of them as, or others who really aren't, I don't think so.

Again, I think the Dems should go on Fox, even if they can be propagandists they are still seen as a legitimate news organization (and at times can be) and it comes off as cowardly if they don't, even if they're ambushed (like Bill Clinton was), which I don't think either of them were from what I've seen (good for Fox on that BTW).

I don't think most Americans even look at those other sites that are not considered "Mainstream".
That wasn't really my point, but I won't disagree. Do you really think Fox is mainstream though? They may have a higher (though falling) ratings share, but they are out of step on so many issues than the rest of the country. While those sites may be left, can we just all agree at least that Fox is right leaning?

How hypocritical of her to do so. Does anyone else remember when she tore into Obama for mentioning Reagan in a positive light?

Hillary came off looking very good from that interview.

Of course it was part of the "vast right wing conspiracy" to make her look good.
The democratic party will self destruct the closer the race between Hillary and Barrack.

I'm looking forward to the McCain interview.
I'm hoping it's tougher than his Bush interview. Or Olbermann's interview of Hillary. Again, I wouldn't go so far as to call that one fluff. But again, it could have been tougher. If it is tough on him, it won't take away everything O'Reilly has done since, but at least it might give him some of his credibility back. Hoping Obama does it too. If O'Reilly can go the whole interview without mentioning Wright or Ayers and focus on the real issues, it would actually put him about the majority of the rest of the MSM. Don't see that though. Just more of the same. Falafel.
