Hey, has anyone found a foolproof way to route music from the iPhone through their car's audio system? I tried an FM Transmitter from HD Accessories, and both the gadget and the company stunk.

Do you have a tape player in your car? I've found that's the best way.

No, darn it, I don't. I do have an iPod "jack" but haven't been able to use it. Also have an "aux" option which worked with a cable for my iTouch.
Any ideas? Please?

I use a Belkin Auto Kit, and a 1/8" patch cable to run into the aux. input on my factory radio. I don't need to use Airplane mode, either. :)

I use this same method, 1/8" audio cable to the AUX jack found in most car stereos now.

The Belkin site said something about an additional transmitter being needed; do either of you use that as well? Thanks.

There is no transmitter.
