Macbook Touch-Gizmodo competition

What do you guys think? It seems like only a matter of time before we see a touch screen laptop.

In fact I wouldn't be surprised to see it at Macworld next year.

These are some amazing designs, as Tablet PC user I am waiting for this to happen for years now :)

But I guess for a pure slate tablet with touch keyboard Apple has to come up with a display which gives haptic response, not just visual or auditorial, when pressing a key. I heard there was a company which develops touch displays where you "feel" that you hit a key, probably be inducing electrical currents in you fingers.

If they have that technology, roll on the pure mac touch. With SSD, the keyboard is the last mechanic thing we have to remove ;)

Just thinkg about webbrowsing on this giant iphone, photo editing with 10 finger tracking etc.

The future is bright...
