iPod touch Overcharging possible?

Is it possible to overcharge the iPod Touch like if I leave it connected for the entire night?

No, it is not. it will stop charging when the battery hits 100%

awesome! I was afraid it'll be like my LG Chocolate, which pretty much ran out of juice after just a year.

That can still happen. Rechargable batteries eventually die.

I leave my iPod touch docked all the time when I'm not using it so I don't see it being a problem.

Rechargable batteries DO eventually die... however the weather you leave it docked at 100% wont make a difference. Its the amount of use the battery gets.

Dock it, wil make no difference

yeh on one of my workhorse powerbooks the batt just suddenly dropped off max capacity one day to 88% and then two weeks later to 77%. So, time to get another one, it only has about 200 cycles on it but it's more than 2 years old.
