Changing email default

Please help....I'm rather computer illiterate but I want to change my email default to Yahoo! Mail, but when I go to Mail>preferences>general and then to default email reader, as I have read, and try to select Yahoo, it doesn't show up. Anyone???

That preference is for local mail client applications, not webmail like Yahoo.

Okay, that makes sense. But since my mail.com isn't working and I want to be able to email a lot of pics, do you have any suggestions? I tried signing up for picasa, but I guess it isn't available for the mac yet.
