My 3 day old iPhone battery...

I've had my I phone since Wednesday and seem do be having poor battery life. I have jailbreaked and unlocked it and I'm on 1.1.4.

Well I get about a day and I only make about an hour worth of phone call at the most. I watch a couple of you tube videos and check my mail and browse the web (wifi). I use the iPod function aswell for no more than a couple of hours.

Its quite annoying beacuse I'm really concious about it.

Is this normal for my usage?

um... that sounds like a fair bit of usage.
so wifi is on that whole time?

one hour of calls.
youtube via wifi
ipod for about 2-3 hours?


at what time do you get to 20%?

wifi uses up battery very quickly...

Oh ok. The past few days I've been using the net on this instead of my mabook. I've also used you tube alot so yeh.

I charge mine every single night. The internet seems to suck up the battery the most, especially if you're using edge instead of wifi.

very rarely will I not charge mine every night. Sometimes I turn it off and that'll be enough for the next day. With the amount of stuff that gets used ie Internet and email the days of having 3 or 4 days usage are over
