I know this would happen but it's really bugging me. I've had it for a year and a half I believe. Is there a good type of cleaner that will get scratches out?

Yes there is. I used this on my old iBook and it works great. It takes some elbow grease, but it does work.

Many thanks for this post! One of the Apple Store techs told me about IceCreme, but I had not been able to find... until now.
