How do you make video go into slow-motion on Imovie.

You sure? I googled for iMovie slow motion and there are tons of results.

Which version of iMovie are you using? 08 will not do slow motion, but older versions will.

no unfortunatly iMovie 08 doesn't seem to have slo-mo. Quite what Apple were thinking when they put iMovie 08 together i don't know.

I think you can still download an older version of iMovie from the apple website. Or there's Final Cut Express of course.

Or ask a friend that has Shake (http://www.apple.com/shake/imageprocessing.html) (and knows how to use it) to generate the slow motion clip. Shake has optical flow-based timing algorithms that produce very good slow motion effects. Then, import the result back into iMovie.

thats a nice idea.

Can you still download iMovie 06? that does it. But i'll admit i think it looks a bit naff
