T-mobile EDGE settings?

Im about to unlock my little...well, younger brothers brand new iphone.

he's got the $20 internet plan on tmobile, and i wanted to see what i have to do to set up his iphone to get EDGE?

I googled it, and looked at that stickied wiki, but i'm going to be using ziphone 3.0, so im wondering if someone could give me the lowdown!

if your brother has the $20 Unlimited Internet plan:

if your brother has the $20 Unlimited VPN (internet) plan:

internet3.voicestream.com


after you insert the T-Mobile SIM Card, got to Setting, then General, then Network, than EDGE... enter the info above in the APN line and leave USERNAME and PASSWORD blank. Good Luck!!!

Works on mine with the $20 Total Internet plan:

APN: wap.voicestream.com
Username: guest
Password: guest

Feel free to call T-Mobile for help - they're great. They will treat your phone as an unlocked user-bought phone and get the settings you need.

do I leave data roaming on or off?
will it affect any, it only seems to work with data roaming on
