In Apple's Mail App you can set it up to
send email through your Domain name email
( like: yourname@yourname.com )
Is it possible to do this on an iPhone ?
In the iPhone Apple Mail,
i can only send email from my Gmail Account
and not my Domain name Email....!
Any ideas how to send Domain name Email ??
thanks!

It's possible.
Go to the Mail settings and choose "Add Account...". Then it will ask you if you want to use Yahoo! Mail, Gmail, .mac or AOL mail, but you will have another option: "Other". Choose "other" and set up your POP3 mail account ;)

ok, then you go through your Email Provider......
But i was more thinking about how Gmail lets you do this
without going through your Email provider in Gmail Itself......
In Apple Mail, i set up this without having to go through my Email Provider,
i did this all through Gmail POP3 !
hope this makes sense ; - )

ok now im confused
are you setting up a gmail account, or a private account?
you may have what i have, a gmail account set up for your own domain, so your email address is yourname@yourname.com, but its all handled by gmail...

I have a .mac account which has a custom domain name. ie www.myname.com It is actually hosted on apple servers via .mac. I also have mail routing through that account. So name@myname.com which forwards to my .mac mail account. I sync my .mac mail account with my iPhone. so if you send an email to name@mayname.com I receive it on my iPhone.
So yes it is possible.
But when I reply it shows that I am using my .mac account to reply !
