I just finished installing windows xp pro sp2 on a parition of my macbook pro created by boot camp. everything's gone very smoothly.

For the Geforce 8600m GT (256mb), I just updated the nvidia drivers to 163.75 by downloading the updater and modified inf file... is this okay to do? the updated drivers arent going to mess up my macbook, will they?

thanks!

No they won't mess up your MBP.

Those are super old drivers. Here's my post for the newest Nvidia drivers.
