I just bought an AirPort Express N, and I have the biggest problems trying to set it up using AirPort Utility 5.3.1. However as soon as I reverted to 5.2.2, the problems went away. I'm on Leopard 10.5.2.
In 5.3.1, I can setup the Express once. That is to put in the PPPoE settings, WPA keys, etc. But once the Express is hooked up to my DSL modem and connected to the internet, I can no longer access the settings for it. AirPort Utility can find my Express, but after trying to read its configuration for a while, it throws an error -6722. The only way to reach my Express is to reset it!
But in 5.2.2, none of this happens. I can access my Express even while it is connected to the internet. What gives? Does anyone here have the same experience? Any workarounds?
