How to remove Reflection on Dock?

Hello doees any one now how to remove reflections on Dock? i have found an artickle http://itomizer.com/2007/10/31/leopard-transparent-dock/ but how then turn back the reflection when using terminal?

Easiest way is just to use another Dock that doesn't use reflection, like Teledock.

The 'reflection' (I've done a lot of work on customizing the dock yet can't find the MR thread on it) and if I remember the 'reflection' is relational to the opacity of the dock itself.

If you create a custom s-curve file, the less opaque it is, the less it reflects. In other words if it's a solid black or solid red it won't reflect at all. If you set the opacity to say 40% it will reflect quite a bit.

This involves creating the file in a graphics program. You can also download some free dock changers (google it) and drop a solid color file and most of them will create the needed curve files and archive the originals.

Your 'indicator' might look a tad bit off without any reflection but that as well is easily changed.

CandyBar is a good commercial program that will allow good customization.

Again though, I 100% beleive the 'reflection' is in relation to the opacity of the s-curve png file.

Just change the Dock app indicators to something else, like Max Rudberg's, and they will look fine on an opaque Dock.

I went back to a 2D Dock after trying these scripts out and have never thought about going back. It's so much easier to see which programs are open this way that it completely outweighs any eye-candy factor of the 3D Dock, IMO.

I agree. I just plain don't like the 3D Dock. I went back to 2D. I wish they allowed us to choose the old Tiger "tape" style Dock, though.
