Im running xp in vmware on my imac, and i have an external drive plugged in, the drive is recognized by xp, but it wont allow me to transfer files to the hard drive. When i check properties it is checked read only, and every time i uncheck the box and then reopen properties the box is checked again. I need to save these files from xp, any ideas?
