Bought these:
http://www.datamemorysystems.com/_memory-information/8GB_Kit_DDR2800_FBDIMMs_Apple_677-1x4.asp

The install took couple of minutes and followed these directions (I kept the stock 2x1GB):

No problems what so ever!

Just wanted to share with the community! :)

I just installed 2 *4GB of RAM from transintel, but the original Aplle RAM is not recognized (I moved them to the second slot)
Any ideas?

Are you sure the Apple RAM is fully seated?

If you purchased 2 new modules,

Put the 2 x 4 GB into Riser A, slot 1 and slot 2

Put the 2 x Apple RAM into Riser B, slot 1 and slot 2

They are in the right slots, so probably not properly seated. Iīm away from my MP for 10 days so I canīt check

I think it would probably be better if you swap the DIMM 1&2 with 3&4
(Put the 2x2GB on top, 2x1GB on the bottom - of Riser A)

Thanks Ken. What is the reasoning behind that? I am curious.

Having DIMM1/2 on both risers with the same memory would allow simpler/better memory allocation and increase speed (albeit a little)?

It allows 256-bit access across the 4 x 2 GB modules if you put them in A1 A2 B1 B2 for a small speed boost.

Thanks! Moved them based on your recommendation. :D
