I am traveling with family overseas, and have a nice still camera (Nikon D40), but was thinking of throwing in a small (very small) video camera. I really don't want to be lugging around lots of equipment, and want to be "in the moment"... not always behind the camera. I am looking for something that can also fit in my D40 Camera bag...

I noticed these very thin camcorders, for less than $200 (like Aiptek A-HD HD Camcorder, at Circuit City).

Any experience with these? Any other decent ones out there, or other ideas? Thanks, LGM

There is a similar item, the Aiptek GO-HD, which has a 3X optical zoom... only slightly more expensive... I wonder if otherwise the same as the A-HD.

If you can still find one, this model was really cheap: http://www.thisoldtoy.com/L_FP_Set/toy-pages/3000s/3305-pxl2000deluxecamcord.html
