Hello, I want a widescreen monitor, preferably around 17"'s. Anyone know of a good one?

That one looks nice. I found it on pricegrabber for 509 shipped. Anyone else know of any more??

Aside from Apple's Cinema Display 20" and 23" inch, the only other major producer of wide screen LCD is Samsung, w/ the 172W, the 211MP, and the 241MP. The latter can be quit pricey as it doubles as a TV monitor.

No joke on being pricey, ouch!! I think I will go with the 172W.

Sony and NEC both make widescreen lcds. NEC is only on the larger side, but Sony makes down to 17" at least (and up to 24")
