View Full Version : JB 1.1.4 = More crashing?

Ever since I jailbroke to 1.1.4 using iLiberty, its been crashing even more, like every 1-3 songs. What should I do?

restore and try again. I used ziphone on my 1.1.4 and no crashes yet.

Will I lose all my music? Cause i have 8800+ in my library and only 1030+ on my touch and I dont want to handpick them all again.

You will lose all of the files that you currently have stored on your iPod when you restore.
Your iTunes library won't be affected.

Drag the songs from your iPod to an iTunes playlist if you plan on reformatting, so you don't have to handpick.

Mine is really screwed up, Installer freezes everytime I start it, Safari freezes everytime I exit it and Contacts crash it when I try and make a new one! Useless!

I had 1.1.1 and I restored it to 1.1.4 before I went through the pwnage proccess... Do I need to restore it and pwn it all over again?

yea just restore it and re jailbreak it and it should be fine myn did the same

yeah, make sure you have a playlist of everything you listen to once esp. if you are planning on living w/ a jailbroken ipod. I jailbroke my manually on the first day and learned real fast that you needed to quickly separate everything i listen to from everything else

Well, it hasnt been to bad the past week, so I'm ok. The only thing now is I can't download anything from the installer. I keep getting "Package Download Failed"

try a different hotspot. That happens quiet a bit these days. Also refresh all of your sources and delete ones you aren't using.
