iPod Classic volume issue

When ever I turn the volume down all the way music still plays. I am up dated to 1.1.2. Also after turning the iPod on I have to wait 5 secods for the click wheel.

Both of these problems are known. They both happen on my classic too. We'll just have to wait for Apple to fix them with a firmware update.

I wholeheartedly agree! My click wheel will often not respond to my thumb at all, leaving me in a silent car :( I have found that fiddling with the hold switch will often help, but not always and it is certainly a problem that needs remedying!
And the volume problem has lead to me no longer sleeping with my iPod :(

I believe that's the way it's supposed to work. If you want the music to stop playing why don't you just press pause?

I usually listen with my volume turned all the way down, I didn't think it was supposed to stop playing.
