Subject: Dubya meets the Queen
George Bush met The Queen, and during a respite in their conversation, he
turns round and queries Her Majesty:
"As I'm the President, I'm thinking of changing how the country is
referred to, and I'm thinking that it should be a Kingdom".
To which the Queen replied, "I'm sorry Mr. Bush, but to be a Kingdom,
you have to have a King in charge - and you're not a King."
George Bush thought a while and then said: "How about a
Principality then?", to which the Queen replied,
"Again, to be a Principality you have to be a Prince - and you're not a
Prince, Mr. Bush".
Bush thought long and hard and came up with "How about an Empire
then?"
The Queen, getting a little teed off by now, replied
" Sorry again, Mr. Bush, but to be an Empire you must have an Emperor
in charge - and you are not an Emperor."
Before George Bush could utter another word, The Queen said: "I
think you're doing quite nicely as a Country".
:D got this from a friend in london:D

I miss the humor. I know people(liberals) think Bush the MBA is dumb but you have to admit the man did get himself constitutionally elected as president. something smart gore or others did not.

From someone who found Clinton to be an excellent orator, I have to say that GWB has the speaking skills of a mule.

gw's mba didn't do him much good did it? How many failed companies did he preside over? His daddy's buddies bailed him out time and time again and the rangers succeeded only because of massive political maneuvering not because of his mba.
it wasn't the education that helped him but his east coast establishment connections. He wouldn't have gotten the mba had it not been for barbara. Don't tout someone's credentials unless they have been honestly earned.
He may not be dumb but he can't speak worth beans. How can anyone admire a pres who sounds like a 12 year old giving a report in front of class?

Reminds me of a bumper sticker that said "You know there's going to be trouble when our bombs are smarter than our president."
Or the one that said "Re-defeat Bush".
Just helping the bucket filling contest!

I can't believe that you actually think that's a point of pride! That appointees of his father had to hijack the process and even then only were able to elect him by a single vote.
Yeah, Gore did not have the Supreme Court in his pocket, but he did have over half a million more votes than bush, and if jeb bush hadn't illegally messed with the voter registrations in florida Gore wouldn't have needed to.
