So I took my Macbook C2D 2.16 GHz to the Apple store yesterday...they told me my screen is cracked, and it will be 400 dollars plus labor to fix it. So...should I try to sell my computer? What should I be able to get out of it? The screen only has lines down the extreme right side of the screen. I have everything that came with the computer, and it is still under warranty until the end of June. Any idea what I could get out of it? Or should I get it repaired? I think I just want to sell it. Thanks-

Tyler

You could always check eBay completed auctions for prices of "as-is" MacBooks.

I'd not put $400 into it. If it was in great shape, it'd only be worth $700-$800. I bet you could get $400 for it as is, and then you'd not have to mess around with it. Your best bet is to go through the learning curve and replace it yourself for half of that.
