Hi!

Yesterday I restored my iPod Touch because it was acting weird. But then I could'nt retrieve the january software update. I did'nt understand because last time I restored, it all worked fine. Then I read this article on Apples support site about how to retrieve it, but I never managed to get it back.

I don't know if it might be beacuse I reinstalled windows by a week ago.

Anyone who knows how to retrieve the january software update?

It is because you reinstalled Windows - that will have erased the file you downloaded when you purchased the January upgrade, without which you cannot run the apps.

If you still have a back-up copy of your old Home directory, then you may be able to recover the necessary file yourself.

Otherwise, you'll have to email Apple for assistance in re-authorizing your iTunes account to download the file a second time.
