Explore files in iPhone Simulator

Hi all..

Being a beginner i want ot know how to create a xml file in iPhone (simulator).
I am having working knowledge in Winodws Mobile.
Can we use Active Sync (in case of Win Mobile) like anything for iPhone.

Also i wud like to know the procedures for XML serialization, other than the coding part (i think we want to create a xml file prior to that, isnt it? )

Is iPhone supports any kind of serialization
(Win Mobile supprt only XML serlztn)...

PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO CREATE A FILE IN iPHONE ...
